Every asset you see and hear for this project is created by human artists. The audio mix, the videos & thumbnails, tuxedo tracks logos, icons all over this site - all sourced or commissioned. I am DELIGHTED to be able to credit and shoutout all the artist help I've received. I'm a pianist not a painter, so these are the folks that make this site LOOK good.
Identity & Artwork
Logo Construction: The Tuxedo Tracks logos & banners & cat and watermark are the work of Oakley Aughtman (Instagram) (they/them), who did such an incredible job that I knew I had to try to make a good website to go with the art, so THANKS.
Photos: Various photos of the recording space and Richard's mugshot were taken by Kieran Godfrey (Instagram) (Website) (they/them). Available for live show photography, events, weddings. Frankly, they're only average at mario kart, so keep that in mind.
Thumbnail Graphics: All thumbnails on YouTube and colored tiles on this site were assembled by myself and my Canva Pro subscription (high roller over here).

The Music & Media
Performances: Captured live in-studio on a Yamaha C3 Grand Piano. Piano tuned and regulated by Christopher D. Purdy, RPT
Audio Engineering & Mixing: All performances recorded & mixed in-house (literally) at The Cattage studio. Occasional background feline & canine noises are included free of charge (if it's intrusive enough I redo the take, I promise)
• Signal Chain: Yamaha C3 Grand Piano → AKG Omni & Cardioid Mics → Pro Tools.
• Processing: Heavy use of FabFilter suite; Kilohearts plugins used for fail-safe limiting & dynamics.
• Space & Tone: More classical/orchestral piano tracks may use either some Pro-R or an instance of Valhalla, while jazz/ballads processed with IR impulses of a Bricaster reverb; soothe2 occasionally used for resonance control (litle bit goes a long way).
• OBS Workflow: Years of chipping away at the tech debt have resulted in a number of software workarounds and niche programs, happy to talk shop anytime.
Ecosystem & Accessibility
Ecosystem Accessibility: Navigating web accessibility is completely new to me, and optimizing this setup is a learning curve. Natively, the site uses a high-contrast visual setup pairing clean white and lavender text against a charcoal grey. Structurally, the database is mapped with (hopefully) correct semantic headers so screen readers can parse repertoire columns logically, and the embedded rehearsal video player includes keyboard hotkey support for navigation. Alt-text has been added to most icons and image assets, but this site is very much an ongoing process of learning, expansion, and revision.
Open-Source Appreciation: Structural tools and layouts across our library deployment are built using framework elements developed and optimized by the open-source community.
Tuxedo Tracks is a classical outlet, a space for me to keep my collab repertoire polished and alive. By choosing these acoustic recordings over a MIDI track, you are acting as a modern patron providing support for me to continue this work and contributing to the available resources of the 21st century.
